This week’s sign of the apocalypse: Lute Letlow, newly elected member of Congress from Louisiana, died from complications related to COVID-19. Letlow (41) was a husband, father of two and days from being sworn into office. Now look, I know this shit is happening every day it’s just that some stories for whatever reason, seem to hit harder than others.

I may be wrong, but I doubt it.

Next Gen useless stat of the week: Philadelphia QB Jalen Hurts is second in the NFL in “Average Intended Air Yards” at 9.8 yards. Hey, good intentions.

R.I.P. Phil Niekro (81) – Legendary, Hall of Fame knuckleball pitcher played 24 years in the majors, 21 with the Atlanta Braves.                 He finished his career with 318 wins, 2,912 strikeouts, 226 complete games and was a five-time All-Star and five-time Gold Glove winner.

R.I.P. Dawn Wells (82) – Miss Nevada in 1959 before she was casted in “Gilligan’s Island” in 1964 as Mary Ann Summers.

R.I.P. Sam Little (80) – Referred to as the country’s most prolific serial killer, confessed to more than 90 slayings. He was a former boxer and investigators said the believe he knocked out his victims with a punch before strangling them while masturbating.
