Briefly.

With a light rain on Tuesday, this past April just went down as the wettest April in local history with 21 days of measurable rain. May hasn’t started much better.

Trivia #1: Where is Chateau Marmont and what is it significance?

Trivia #2: For you Celtics historians. “Havlicek stole the ball!” – who inbounded it?

Trivia #3: What does MVR mean?

Trivia #4: Ya, going with four today: What do the television show Gilligan’s Island and the cartoon show Mr. Magoo have in common?

Comedian Frank Caliendo, known for his impersonations, did just that impersonating Ian Rapoport, Adam Schefter and Raiders’ coach Jon Gruden in separate calls to Arizona GM Steve Keim just hours before Keim made the number one pick on the NFL draft. Keim admitted he really thought he was getting legitimate trade offers. (Man, he’s got a better sense of humor than me because I would have been pissed!)

For you locals, be careful not to take for granted the fact that our baseball team won the World Series last fall, our football just won the Super Bowl and we are watching our hockey and basketball teams in the playoffs. Imagine if we lived in Cleveland!

Go figure. It was the Red Sox who won to avoid Black Tuesday in New England sports this past week. Prior to Tuesday, it had been 3,280 days (May 7, 2010) since the Bruins and Celtics both lost a playoff game on the same day.

I drank a carton of milk yesterday and David Pastrnak’s picture was on it.

In disturbing news, “13 Reasons Why”, a show about a teen girl’s suicide, first aired on March 31, 2017. The following month, suicides among children age 10 to 17 was the highest in 19 years, with an estimated 195 more suicides in the nine months after the show aired than in the same period in preceding years.

Red SOX CEO Sam Kennedy confirmed that the Red Sox are in talks to bring a college bowl game to Fenway Park.

I shouldn’t even put this out there because some of you might follow suit, but… 88-year old billionaire Warren Buffet typically consumes five cans of Coca-Cola per day, eats McDonald’s chicken nuggets at least three times per week and loves Dairy Queen ice cream for dessert. As for salt? Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf once said “When the food comes, Warren grabs a salt shaker in his left hand and one in his right, and it’s a snowstorm.”

I want to grow my own food but can’t find any bacon seeds.

Trivia #3 hint: It has to do with professional baseball.

I’m not interested if you stood with the great. I’m interested if you sat with the broken.

Trivia #1 answer: Where is Chateau Marmont and what is it significance? Chateau Marmont is in L.A. and John Belushi lived, partied and later died there in 1982.

“Every time I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
It went by like dusk to dawn

Isn’t that the way
Everybody’s got their dues in life to pay”
