Stop complaining: Oh, what the hell, go ahead and complain. The Boston area has seen 19 consecutive days with below average temperatures, with no end in sight.

Useless information supposed to fire my imagination: Drake Maye’s first three playoff starts stack up surprisingly well next to Tom Brady’s.

DYK: In his last 35 appearances, Scottie Scheffler has won 14 titles. That’s a 40% win rate right there. That has also included three runner-up finishes and two third-place finishes in a total of twenty-three top-5s. Incredible.

Speaking of the Super Bowl, since my team is playing, I love the hype!

I’ll give the NBA credit. When it comes to the trade deadline, they move!

This week’s sign of the apocalypse: The San Francisco 49ers have been riddled with injuries in recent years, and there is a theory about why. A viral theory, albeit unproven, says the 49ers’ unusually high number of soft tissue and non-contact injuries might be due to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) from a big electrical substation next to their practice fields and Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The claim is that being around it for years could weaken tendons and soft tissue, leading to more ACL tears, Achilles injuries, hamstring pulls and similar issues.
